Our commitment

Modern Creations Construction Co, LLC wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, captions, or other assistive technology. We treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time task.

The standard we target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is a goal we work toward. We do not claim the site is fully conformant, and it has not been certified or audited by an outside party.

Measures we have taken

  • A "skip to main content" link at the top of every page.
  • One main heading per page and a logical heading order, so pages can be navigated by heading.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Navigation, links, and the quote form are designed to be usable with a keyboard alone, with visible focus.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and required fields and errors are identified in text, not by color alone.
  • Text and background colors are chosen with the aim of meeting WCAG AA contrast ratios.
  • Layouts that reflow on small screens and when text is zoomed, without sideways scrolling.
  • Animation kept to a minimum and reduced for visitors who set a reduced-motion preference.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site may not yet work as well as we want:

  • Placeholder images. Some pages currently show placeholder graphics while photos of our work are gathered. When real photos are added, their text descriptions will be updated to match.
  • Third-party spam check. The quote form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. This widget is provided and controlled by Cloudflare, and we cannot fully guarantee its accessibility. If it gives you trouble, call us instead and we will take your request by phone.
  • Links to other websites. Sites we link to are not under our control and may not meet the same standard.
